How do I care for my pants?
To lengthen the life of the pant, wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and either hang dry or tumble dry on low. Be mindful that hanging to dry in direct sunlight can fade colors quickly. Because I aim to use natural fibers for my designs the fibers will inevitably weaken over time - because they’re not made with plastic, yay! Think about fabric like hair: if you aggressively wash hair everyday with hard chemicals and then blast it in a high heat blow dryer everyday it will begin to weaken or break. Natural fabric like cotton, silk, or linen are similar in this way. Simply put: Less heat = longer life of the pant.
Does GALEXY offer custom pants?
When will I receive my order?
For all preorders:
Currently, GALEXY takes about 4 to 6 weeks to dye, cut, sew, package and ship a pair of made-to-order pants. In an effort to keep waste at a minimum, the majority of GALEXY garments are made to order. Meaning, the production process for each pair of pants starts after you’ve placed your order.

What is your return and exchange policy?

What is a "made to order"?
Because GALEXY is such a small operation we typically have a very limited amount of fabric available to cut from. Once we determine roughly how many garments we can cut from the fabric inventory GALEXY will open up a scheduled opening that will "sell out" once the allotted number of pants have been ordered. This keeps us from accidentally over selling a certain fabric and allows us to work in small batches at a time - which works well for our tiny home studio and keeps waste down.
What does “preshrunk" mean?
All GALEXY pants are preshrunk, meaning the fabric is washed and dried prior to cutting and sewing the pieces together. Preshrinking allows for minimal shrinkage when you launder your finished pants at home.
Do you offer repairs on GALEXY pants?
YES! We want the life of GALEXY pants to be long! Send us a message at hello@galexyworks.com with photos of the area needing repair, and we'll be happy to take a look.
